Mapping the Standard Model to Christological Ontology
Category theoryA branch of mathematics that studies relationships between different mathematical structures. Think of it as the 'mathematics of mathematics' - it looks at how different systems relate to each other while preserving their essential patterns. provides the rigorous mathematical framework to demonstrate that the Standard Model of particle physics and Christ's ontological declarations are not merely analogous—they share a structure-preserving correspondenceA relationship in which one system's internal structure can be faithfully mapped into another while retaining essential relational patterns—much like how a topographical map preserves spatial relations among cities even though its geometry differs from the terrain itself. that reveals the same underlying reality.
In this formalism, we identify structure-preserving mappings (functorsMathematical 'translators' that convert objects and relationships from one category to another while preserving how things connect. Like translating a sentence from English to Spanish while keeping the meaning intact.) between the category PHYSICS (with quantum field objectsThe fundamental 'stuff' of reality in physics - invisible fields that fill all of space. Particles are just ripples or excitations in these fields, like waves on an ocean. and gauge symmetry morphismsMathematical transformations that leave physics unchanged. Like how rotating a perfect sphere doesn't change its appearance - these are the 'rules' that preserve the laws of physics.) and the category GOSPEL (with Christological objectsThe fundamental theological concepts about Christ's nature - His body, blood, divine nature, and relationship to creation. and participation morphismsThe ways we relate to and participate in Christ's nature - like branches drawing life from a vine, or eating bread to sustain life.).
Important Note: This represents a first attempt at rigorously demonstrating functorial mappings between the Standard Model of physics and Christological ontology using category theory. This formalism is preliminary and requires significant refinement, particularly in:
We warmly welcome feedback, corrections, and collaboration from mathematicians, physicists, and theologians. Please consider this a living document—an invitation to dialogue rather than a final statement. Contact and discussion are encouraged at the project's main site.
Cosmos emerges from pre-temporal quantum substrateA deeper reality beyond spacetime from which the universe arose - quantum fields existing before time itself
Higgs field exists in symmetric stateThe field existed but with zero vacuum expectation value - perfectly symmetric but unstable, like a ball balanced on a peak (⟨φ⟩ = 0)
Field falls to BROKEN stateAt 10⁻¹² seconds after Big Bang, the Higgs field spontaneously fell from symmetric peak into broken minimum. This gives mass to fermions (quarks, electrons) and W/Z bosons. Photons and gluons remain massless. at 10⁻¹² seconds
⟨φ⟩ jumps from 0 → 246 GeV everywhere
BROKEN state creates material reality
Gives mass to: fermions & W/Z bosonsFermions (matter particles like quarks and electrons) and the weak force carriers (W and Z bosons) gain mass. Photons (light) and gluons (strong force) stay massless.
Massive particlesFermions (quarks, electrons) and W/Z bosons exist as excitations in the broken field, requiring continuous Higgs coupling to maintain mass are excitations in broken field
Mass = continuous Higgs coupling
Photons/gluons remain massless & free
Christ begotten in eternity from the FatherJohn 1:18 (KJV) - "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." See also John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."
"Lamb SLAIN from foundation of world"Revelation 13:8 (KJV) - "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
"This is my body, BROKEN for you"1 Corinthians 11:24 (KJV) - "And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me."
"The beginning of the creation of God"Revelation 3:14 (KJV) - "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God."
BROKEN body becomes cosmos
"By Him all things consist"Colossians 1:17 (KJV) - "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
"Unless you eat my flesh..."John 6:53 (KJV) - "Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you."
"I am the vine, you are branches"John 15:5 (KJV) - "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
The universe IS the broken body of Christ.
Not metaphorically. Not analogously. Literally.
The Higgs field's broken symmetry and Christ's broken body are the same ontological event
viewed through different categorical lenses.
Category theory is the mathematics of relationships and transformations. Think of it as a universal translator that shows when two seemingly different systems have the exact same structure.
A Simple Example:
• A map of New York preserves the relationships between locations
• The map isn't the city, but the structure is the same
• You can navigate using either because they share a structure-preserving correspondence
Here we show: Physics and Gospel aren't just similar—they have identical ontological structure. They're two maps of the same territory.
Everything else derives from this fundamental mapping
This section is currently under development. The functorial mappings for consciousness and non-locality require additional research and refinement to meet the rigor established in previous stages.

These functors form a tentative categorical framework demonstrating that Gospel declarations and physics descriptions are two presentations of the same underlying ontological structure. The broken body of Christ emerges as the fundamental category from which both theological and physical reality derive their being.
"The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" is not metaphor—it is mathematics.

I welcome your feedback on this formalism, especially regarding how accurately and rigorously it represents the functorial mappings between the Standard Model and Christological ontology.
Does this framework fairly represent the ontological structure of both domains? Let me know:
